The Computer Society Chapter is a chapter of SB UC with the objective of providing the academic community with a platform that discusses and presents Computer Science concepts that go beyond the academic curriculum. The chapter was founded during October 2020 by 4 members of SB IEEE UC and latter officialized.

WHAT WE’VE BEEN DOING
The Computer Society Chapter is currently developing and maintaining the official IEEE SB UC website, finishing the mascot of the student branch and sharing creating online posts with informational content across various computing fields. Besides those internal projects, we also organize workshops and competitions to help expand the knowledge at the University of Coimbra. So, if any of this tasks interests you, or if you’d like to propose other ideas, don’t hesitate to come and help this group grow.
