CS | Computer Society

The Computer Society Chapter is a recent chapter of SB-UC that is in the process of becoming official. This chapter was founded during October 2020 by 4 members of SB IEEE UC. The chapter’s objective is to provide the academic community with a platform that discusses and presents Computer Science concepts that go beyond the academic curriculum.

Currently, it is organizing web talks and workshops in various areas, including Machine Learning and Quantum Computing. So, if this is your area of interest, or if you’d like to propose other ideas, don’t hesitate to come and help this group grow.

At the moment, we have two working teams. The activities team is responsible for organizing activities, such as contacting speakers, creating registration forms, moderating activity sessions, and sending participation certificates. The communication team is in charge of the chapter’s image, managing social networks, and promoting activities.
